My grandfather quit smoking in 1965. I asked him how hard was it to quit? He just looked at me funny and said, "Hard? I just stopped doing it. It wasn't difficult at all". They didn't add pyrazines to cigarettes until the 1970s.

I started using the pouch after listening to a couple of scientists on the subject and my ulcerative colitis. I have zero pain. I started on the Fourth of July and I have not had an episode and today is the 17th. I have not gone this long without an episode, my doctor knows what I’m doing, and I would always check with your doctor before adding anything but I’m telling you it has made my life different and better.

My father smoked very heavily - constant - but they were "roll your owns" - made with cigarette papers and a pouch of tobacco by hand (he had to make them and it was the only thing that slowed him down smoking wise) - he'd been smoking since he was a child - he got to about 65 contracted pneumonia got put in hospital came out and never touched another cigarette (too late I'm afraid) and was vehemently antismoking and tried to make my mother give up (he didn't mention any difficulty giving up) - year later he was dead from a massive heart attack (one week before my final exams at Uni !). Anyway my mother couldn't give up but she smoked what were called "taylor mades" - cigs that you just bought already made (it was a different time back then) - she died 2 years later from heart/cancer issues - both mum and dad were undiagnosed diabetics (looking back at them it was obvious - I don't understand how a doctor didn't diagnose this) - personally never touched a tobacco cig in my life - did the obligatory weed of course

I’ve had a lifetime struggle with ADD, even as an adult. The doctor gave me Adderall but my heart raced and I was so uncomfortable. I have never smoked but I do use Alp nicotine pouches during work hours when I need to concentrate.

I read that cigarette smoke contains lithium so I add lithium OROTATE to my Nic NAC Naturals which I started sucking at 79 to help my ADHD lack of motivation. The lithium OROTATE is amazing for suicidal feelings and panic attacks. Lot of research on lithium in the water in many areas, I think Austin Texas is one of them and so many influencers are moving there? Beneficial in prisons and for Alzheimer’s!

Well paint me surprised. I didn’t expect to see a prominent Mormon openly talking about the benefits of nicotine. Many of us have known these benefits for years, but it’s genuinely refreshing to see Ben unapologetically push the raw truth, even when (especially when) Mormon leadership won’t be thrilled. That honesty takes spine. Nothing but respect.

Awesome episode. Thanks for covering a topic that is being widely discussed. I rather receive my info from you than from less knowledgeable sources.
