If you watch closely at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOs1gU6a2kw&t=570">9:30</a> on this video you see a wonderful example of orchestral alternate breathing. Watching the 3 French horn players, the middle player takes a breath on 1, the left on 2 and the right on 3 to maintain the section sound. Pretty cool. Awesome performance. Awesome reaction.

Actually the song was written and released by Procol Harum in 1967 not 1977.

Performing their No. 1 hit some 39 years later with an orchestra and a choir. Magnifico. Gary Brooker's voice has aged like a fine wine. Definitely in my Top Ten songs of all time. Still gives me the shivers. You should watch the entire concert. It's on DVD, my friend.

The UK studio version of this was made in the 60's and was great but this live version with the orchestra and choir give it so much depth. Gary Brooker who is playing the piano and was the orginal singer and his voice aged like a fine wine. R.I.P. Garya
