  I find it bizarre how Diego used to be a ruthless, revenge-craving villain in the first movie, and it’s never brought up again after his redemption.

  Despite the first movie literally being about saving a human baby, I keep forgetting that humans exist in the Ice Age universe

  I am laughing so hard over the fact the herd didn’t have a plan to avoid the asteroid so they were just gonna walk towards it and voluntarily kill themselves until Buck got another plan

  someone really looked at that one charming kids movie about found family and went "now that we've spent a whole movie bringing these characters together into a family unit, what if we made more of these movies but also separated all of the main characters into monogamous heterosexual Christian relationships"

  fun fact! the reason why Diego's return comes so out of nowhere in the first movie is because originally he WAS supposed to die and stay dead! however, they found test audiences didn't like that, I think it genuinely upset some kids to the point where they felt it was too sad, so added in that bit at the end where he's okay.

  I don’t know what’s more scary, the implications of Fall Out Boy existing prehistorically, or the fact that ice age animals somehow independently crafted musical instruments and wrote a song that’s coincidentally the exact melody and lyrics as a Fall Out Boy song

  The thing that bothers me the most about the focus on Manny&apos;s own family and forgetting about Sid, is that Manny was about to k*ll himself when he met Sid.<br><br>Manny was on the edge of a cliff and he had his eyes closed and then Sid came running trying to escape the rinos and crashed with his leg <br><br>Manny saved Sid from the Rinos and then he got away from the cliff and then the movie goes on. I believe he still wanted to do it until Sid conviced him to get the baby back with the humans because he was still trying to get away from Sid

  &quot;Diego has a girlfriend! Which... is not the vibe I got from Diego, but okay&quot; is absolutely wild and entirely correct in many ways<br>and sexy lady tiger is indeed a pirate introduced in the 4th movie. that one has very pretty blue colors in it and a scary monkey or ape and that&apos;s most of what i remember
