  My favorite bit is Jaehaerys going to the High Septon and basically telling him "I'm sorry, your holiness. But the faith's laws against incest discriminate against my ethnicity".

  It’s funny because when a Targaryen has kids with a non Valyrian outsider I just know that GRRM has aimed a sniper rifle at that entire branch of the family.

  I understand that this isn't about the invasion of Westeros, but I find it absolutely hilarious that his initial "invasion" was just sending out a letter saying "so I have crowned myself as king. Please fall in line.".

  If you think House Targaryen resides Aegon a lot.  House Stark uses the name Brandon at least 40 times while House Targaryen had no more than 8

  No joke, I'm thoroughly convinced that the Targaryen Madness came not from all the incest, but trying to keep track of who was who given they use minor variations of the same 3 names for EVERYONE.

  I was so worried when Rhaena was put far left. "Why is she there, is she going to get married to her  uncle". Phew she isn't, they tried but isn't. Oh it turns out its like that because she has 5 siblings that makes sense. But wait, she gets married to her uncle anyway. This rollercoaster of a family tree.
