If you take the armor of the courier that you kill and put it on before handing in the altered orders, the commander for both factions doesn’t suspect you at all. They simply congratulate you and give you money to buy a beer as always. Just a nice touch.

The immersion is even stronger if one is playing the Imperial side, and has a spouse/adopted kids living in Breezehome. Gives it some extra personal stakes to hold the line.

So glad to be able to come back to this channel as the semester gets close to ending. I’ve missed so much content but it’s time to catch up.

Saw the title & thought, "The Battle of Whiterun is whatever the DB says it is." And i of course had to watch.

From the NPC pov though, the fact that the other side launched the battle in the first place really speaks to how that world has no idea what "Dragonborn" really means anymore. The lineage Septims didn't have Tiber's power.

Any culture that would truly understand the lore of Dragonborns wouldn't have attacked any side the LDB stands on.

During the Imperial defense of White Rann, I was hoping that you would take the front line as the player and hold back a wave or 2 of enemy soldiers and then be told there was a breach somewhere else and you had to go. Plug that breach and push back the storm clocks then recreate the front line and hold back a couple more waves of storm cloaks, and then make a push to their camp.

I believe that this was not done during the creation of the game. Because it is more complicated and they were thinking that more people would choose the Storm cloak route due to how the beginning of the game started. And because they were considering the storm cloak route cannon.
