  You can actually keep the Jagged Crown for yourself. And, funnily, it involves the Serpent Stone Greater Power or any Strong Paralysis effect. Just go to any NPC you have good affinity with, fittingly either Hadvaar or Raeloff would do good for this, paralyze and reverse pickpocket the Crown onto them. When you come back to "turn in the crown", its treated as if it's still in your inventory. Next time you encounter your vessel of choosing, pickpocket again and boom. A very decent heavy armor helmet with drip to boot.

  I love how many different opinions and perspectives the characters and npcs have about the issues surrounding the civil war, all the way from the leaders themselves to random citizens with very little involvement in the conflict. There are characters on both sides that have very similar values and justifications, but they simply come to different conclusions. &nbsp;<br><br>All this, combined with everything you can learn about the history surrounding the conflict and the people involved, really allows for the player to connect these events together with their own point of view and come to their own conclusions on what they think is right

  always saw this civil war as pointless, which I guess was the intention by the writers? because the empires fear of losing Skyrim was that the thalmor would take advantage and launch their second war on the empire, but had the empire just allowed Skyrim their independence they would’ve likely still joined forces with the empire against the thalmor

  I agree that the civil war is the most important event that happens in the game in the sense that it can effect the future game. Like I personally think a conclusive end to it would be more interesting in ES6, preferably storm cloak victory because i think it&apos;d make things more interesting. They could even make it a little less polarising for the player base who may have sided with the empire, by saying that maybe the events of the main story of skyrim like led to a dragon break with a storm cloak victory materializing even though some people (could be NPC&apos;s) could swear that windhelm was seiged and ulfric killed, and maybe tullius could still be alive though ulfric remembers killing him
