Since Monday we've had 3.75 inches at my house in the Willcox area ,water everywhere.

I'm in the same boat as Mike in regards to rain yesterday. My boat didn't float. Although there was a brief heavy storm cell on the north end of the valley I live in, I didn't but a spittle of rain and that was overnight. It spittled for several hours but it was so light in barely registered on my rain gauge. When all was said and done, my grand total at my place was .13" And it took 4-5 hours of constant spittle to tally that much. I went west yesterday trying to stay ahead of the storms which were abundant along I-8 and I got some awesome time lapse and still photos. The first storm was about 10:30 am and I finally gave up and came home from the west side of Gila Bend at about 2pm. Almost four hours of constant movement, speeding west when it started raining on me and trying to manage 3, sometimes 4 cameras the entire time. It was a FUN DAY for me for sure. Just wish it had dropped some of that rain here. But that's nothing unusual, storms tend to go right around us in this little corner of the desert on the regular.

I just saw the news on some radical flooding. last night. You are right about some get storms and some do not. The mystery of monsoons. We have a "PHX Triangle" where rain is caught within the void.

Gotta good soak here at 19th ave and Greenway. Power was out for a couple of hours. My plants look alive and rejuvenated.

Last night Picture Rocks, Pima County, got 1.85", to bring us up to 8" since June. Well above our average monsoon of 6". Yay!
