  I knew Elizabeth Haydon and her children, and  met her husband Mark Haydon just once, believe it or not, at church. She and her children were  lovely but I  got a bad feeling when I met Mark. I can still remember his eyes and his smell (very off putting). I went to Elizabeth's funeral,  so  sureal to see the story even this many years later 😢

  Gavin Porter (One of the victims) and I were housemates a year or so before he died. I moved out to live with my guitarist and found out via the news. I've been to the Bunting house a few times but never went in or met John, I just waited in the car out the front, and boy I'm glad I didn't meet him, dodged a barrel there.

  I have never been able to understand why Snowtown got such a bad rap over this, and still is.  One murder actually happened in Snowtown.  I feel a bit sorry for the place and the community there coz of it.

  When I spent prison time with Robert, I met him at a paint shop (metalwork) and shook his hand when he introduced himself as Robert, I figured out who he was. The man is quite large. I'm 6 foot and he's taller than me. Anyway, he noticed the recognition of me noticing who he was and chuckled and grinned. The guy slightly got off on it, and at that point I knew I had met evil.
