  The news said Japan&apos;s economy is booming 📈 — but living an ordinary life, it doesn&apos;t quite feel that way, does it?<br>So today I checked the &quot;boom&quot; against my own shopping basket 🛒 A small watermelon, a cold Kirin, hiyashi chuka for summer 🍉🍺<br>I can&apos;t choose the economy — but I can choose what I spend on, and what makes me happy 🌸<br><br>I wrote it on my tanzaku too — may your economy get better as well 🎋✨<br>I read every comment even if I can&apos;t reply to all of them — thank you so much 😊<br>— Rin

  I’m from Arizona, USA and it rains about 4-5times a year here. When I recently visited Osaka/Tokyo it rained every other day and I loved it! Rain truly is a blessing.

  I once heard, &quot;If you don&apos;t know what stocks to buy, invest in companies you like instead of just buying their products.&quot;<br><br>I love Nike shoes, so I checked out a Nike store—it was packed. Adidas and Under Armour stores had way fewer customers. So I loaded up on Nike stock a few years ago.<br><br>Now I&apos;m down about 70%. 😂

  &gt; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDaZN405EKo&amp;t=943">15:43</a> ish<br><br>I saw the Takarazuka Revue when they visited Manhattan (the island, part of New York) a number of years ago (maybe close to a decade?) and was probably the only guy there seeing it alone :D Would be nice to see a show in their home turf.<br><br>My Japanese language teacher was there too but I did not notice, only afterwards during sentence practice did I mention it and she was shocked.
