Rakim never changed; he was always calm, mature and true to himself. It's crazy that he was in high school when he made Paid in Full.

I've been saying this too. I'm from Brooklyn so obviously I have to rep for my borough. Biggie, Jay-Z, Big Daddy Kane, Masta Ace, MOP, Mos Def etc but when I think of Long Island, I realize people really sleep on them. PE, EPMD, Rakim, De La, DOOM are all my favorites so it's tough to disagree with what you're saying. Queens is no joke too.
