I just caught your video from 7 months ago. I was inspired. This last year I discovered journaling and have fell for it lock stock and barrel. I now understand the best so far is your explanation of what each of these books bring to our lives. I understand the purpose of each one a whole lot better after listening to you this eve. I am 65 this year in March, still working full time to build up my retirement, and a Widow of a little over 6 years. I love the junk journaling so much and have a common note book. Getting a gratitude book lined out. I love all the journals I have bought so far. I love, paper, pens, ink and stickers so much. It brings me joy too. Look forward to seeing another video here in my future.

Thank you, Mitzi. I needed this. My kitty died last week and joy left my world.

Hello from snowy Ohio! I just turned 63, got laid off which I converted into retirement, and have been using a planner of some kind most of my life (Daytimers, Hallmark pocket calendars, you name it). I got into Bujo's when I saw Ryder Carroll's video, and have been hooked on YouTube planner/journal videos ever since. I like your topic today. My son (25) recently asked me to start sharing things (songs, shows, memories). And I gave my mom a gratitude journal for Christmas, because she seemed to be getting more and more buried in the negative. Your topic today is spot on - for all ages, but especially us older folks. Thank you for putting it so succinctly.

Hi Mitzi! I love love love this video! I am also in the “over 50” crowd🎉This IS the best time of our lives. Finally a Channel that speaks directly to me and a place where I don’t feel like I am disappearing in this new and weird world. I have so many planners and I was starting to feel entirely overwhelmed until just now when I watched your video. Big thanks to you Mitzi! My Sister! Hugs from Ontario 🇨🇦

13:01 Being creative in a glue book or anything creative helps me so much. When I’m anxious and can’t really hear my intuition it helps me ground and recenter. I love this.

You are right that the junk journal is the most important book because it will unlock your creativity faster than anything. When I owned a stamp/scrapbook store that’s what I taught my customers to do, especially when they felt blocked and uncreative. When you relax and put in things that you like and that speak to you, they will turn out beautiful. But the goal should not to be beautiful. The goal should be just an expression of your self. Just walk around and pick stuff up and look in your purse and look in your collections.
