Atheist Cannot Fathom How Joseph Smith Did THIS!

Let’s say 22-year-old Joseph Smith had somehow found time to study Hebrew languages and known it so well that he expertly wove them into the Book of Mormon (in one stream of conscience) the intricacies of Hebrew analogies and chiasms. He also had time to gather and study ancient maps to find one actual city name (NHM), then calculate a perfect timeline for a large family to walk to this site, then use that site to perfectly gauge the next stopping point (Bountiful) a tiny area filled with trees and vegetation, fruit and honey, a mountain and ore, shore-side cliff, and a place to build and launch a ship…. as described in the Book of Mormon…. If Joseph Smith even knew these places were on a map and the Book of Mormon contained chiasms, why would he never point to those things as proof of its authenticity?? That’s the irony! Critics say he knew about the places and hebraisms, but if he did, why would he never point to those as proof to avoid constant persecution and eventual death? All this insinuates that he didn’t know NHM was on a map, and Chiasms were a thing. Along with MANY other accomplishments and miracles in his short-lived life that no single person in 100 years could do without divine help.

So basically... if one were to remove the Angel story then the Book of Mormon would be the most mind bending historical find in the history of the modern world... but because of an angel it's just ignored

This is the first I've heard that we have an extant charcoal "rubbing" of anything on the plates. My understanding was that we only had sketches or drawings of some of the symbols.

For a subsistence farmer Joseph Smith had a lot of time to read books and study in preparation for writing the Book of Mormon. I'm sure his family didn't mind at all having him disappear for days on end for his research. <br><br>That's one of the things I love about this church is that it actually has answers to the hard questions and to date I have never ever ever ever ever ever ever been able to get an anti-mormon to give me better answers.
