  I often hear judges and lawyers lament over how overburdened the system is. Judges are backed up, public defenders are drowning, jails are overcrowded, etc. That&apos;s what makes a case like this so infuriating. It did nothing to protect the public or further the interests of justice. This was an egotistical cop and a seemingly incompetent prosecutor wasting the court’s time and resources.

  A cop who literally testified that he has never heard of a &apos;pretextual stop&apos; or the term &apos;fishing expedition&apos; is championed by a prosecutor. &nbsp;The justice system is dirty and this cop will lie over and over and over again in the future with no consequences.

  This is a sad case of contempt of cop. His probable cause disappeared the moment he realized there was in fact, a license plate on the vehicle. Everything else is just delusion.
