  YouTube fed me your first video and I have found it to be brilliant.  Exactly what I was looking for!!  Thank you for the effort that you have made to further amateur radio, and my learning!!

  I teach English to K-6 students in Korea. In my kindergarten class, I assigned each student with a NATO letter (alpha, bravo, etc.) I drew cards to get students to participate and each student knew his or her letter. I then started assigning Morse code letters to them corresponding to their assigned letters. I would practice it a little, but I didn't teach Morse code seriously. One time, I wrote . . . . / _ _ _ / . _ . / . . . / . on the board and one student instantly shouted HORSE! Hotel, Oscar, Romeo, Sierra, Echo! Keep in mind these are six-year-old Korean students. I was so proud!

  Something I realized last night, regarding watching the screen: I found myself watching him key the letters (rather than just listening). Hmm! So now, I'm listening with the screen minimized on the computer. 🙂

  I'm running through the house, beeping like the roadrunner. My wife called somewhere. Two young men came over. They offered me a jacket with really long sleeves that is tightly closed on the back. I told them to f off.

  I made some flash cards that have the ICS flags on one side and the NATO Phonetic Alphabet on the other with Morse code and the semaphore alphabet. Yes, I am that big of a nerd.<br><br>While on the subway going nowhere in particular, I decided to memorize the flags. Once I mastered that, I started with the Morse code. For both, I put the ones I knew in one stack and the ones I didn&apos;t in the other. I took three from the stack I had trouble with and practiced those until I memorized them. I then put them in stack of known cards and practiced with them again. I repeated the process until all flags and Morse code letters were memorized. <br><br>Of course, I didn&apos;t stop there. I did them over and over again until I got bored with them. Then I did it some more. After awhile, I no longer needed to check the backs to see if I was correct. After that, I tried reading words I saw on signs and such and spelling them with Morse code. Of course, I looked like an idiot mumbling words like BE, BEEE BE BE BEEE, BE BE, BEEE, but I didn&apos;t care. I finally started taking it seriously after all these years. Maybe I&apos;ll take up CW in the future. I don&apos;t know.

  Lying in bed, lights out, screen dim, just writing it down in the dark with an imaginary pencil on my pillow. Love it !
