  Hi Michael and Becky! Excellent video as always, I've been stuck at 15 wpm for years leaening like Michael and almost given up improving but recently started with MorseMania and improved but after your advice I upped the speed to 30 wpm, and there it was, click it works, this morning head copy 35 wpm at 20 wpm farnsworth, game changer!!!   all very good advice.  The first time I tried CW on the air, I sent CQ expecting to do it multiple times before any reply.  I got an instant reply.  I was shaking so hard I could barely send my call sign.  The guy was very patient and slowed to my speed.  I shook for 10 minutes after 73.

  I initially wanted to get a technician license just so I could use APRS to track my model rockets. After I passed the test the proctor asked me if I wanted to take to General exam while I was there. I took it and failed by one question. Challenge accepted. I went home and started to study for the General exam. After about a week I felt like I was ready but the next test session wasn’t for three more weeks. So I started studying for the Extra exam and, since it was a requirement, Morse code as well.  When the time for the exam came around it took and passed all three exams.  My one piece of advice is to never ever look at any visual representations of Morse code.   Morse code is for your ears only. Oh, and I’ve never launched a rocket since.

  The subject matter of their videos pale compared to the very apparent display of a couple with great love and admiration for each other.  That alone is worth watching.

  I used to be military Morse code guy and I was really good at it. It took place 30 years ago and I'm thinking to go back to it. The thing is if you want to be good at it you have to train every single day

  Thank you for this video, after 30 years of being off the air I got back into it 18 months ago, never did CW and tried last year but made no progress, after watching your video I downloaded Morse Mania and it’s amazing. Thanks again for the tips.

  In High School I was a Novice and learned five words per min. My License timed out while in the ARMY. I got back into Ham Radio in 2009. Now over 50+ years later and at 67 years of age I am learning Mores Code again. This time the right way. Thanks for the great video.
