  This brings back memories of my Uni days in the early 90s. My housemate had a B1 and Wharfedale Diamond 4 speakers I think and an old turntable that I can't remember what it was. We had many a good night drinking and listening to his music, The Doors, Spacemen 3, 808 State, The Pixies etc. I had a Denon tapedeck (DRM510?), a Pioneer A400 and Mission 762s - my first system bought with my student loan. Talk Talk was also always on in the student union bar. Good times.

  I salute the inclusion of an HDMI ARC socket (to bother). Every modern amp and media hub should have one.

  Thank you for doing this review! Howerer, I would like, if I may, to correct you on a couple of comments. 1) MOSFETS are actually transistors too (Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors), and they can be discreet too. So, what you meant is that the power amp is not chip-based and uses discreet components. &nbsp;2) The output is a pre-amp output, not a tape-out, tape-out usually is fixed line level, doesn&apos;t follow the position of the volume knob on the front of the preamp.

  Well done again MF. Had an A120 back in the day, wiped the floor with all comers at it price point (Arcam, Audiolab etc). It even bested one amp that was nearly three times the price (looking at you Linn). Great riff boys.
