  My son of 15 years old heard this on one of my cd's Now all my Dire straits and Knopfler cd's and dvd's have moved from my listening room to his room  So proud...!!!

  I&apos;ve been in love with this tune since the first time I heard it nearly 40 years ago. Every time I hear him play it, the hairs on my neck stand up, I get goose bumps, a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes - all of them signs of joy. It is just so beautiful and celebratory. When I&apos;m dead, and they burn what&apos;s left behind, let them play this to see me off. <br><br>And tell them to play it loud - so I can hear it one last time: them big gas burners are right noisy 👍

  Ich bin 56 Jahre alt und komme aus der DDR . UND ich habe Dire Straits schon damals geliebt. &nbsp;Die Musik hat mir Hoffnung und Kraft gegeben !

  Im a 77 year old Great granny, Dire Straights has been my favourite band &nbsp;for as long as I can remember. This is def going to be my funeral song….. “Going Home”.
