  I dare any of you, dear fellow humans on the internet, to show me a concert with a drummer playing harder than this... We all know Mark Knopfler is a sublime guitar genius, but Terry Williams plays his fucking heart out here

  Rarely gets mentioned but Alan Clark on the piano absolutely nails this. Fantastic talent.

  It&apos;s 2024. I&apos;m listening to this on my headphones, in my uni library. My head&apos;s the only one bobbing away, adrenaline pumping through my veins... <br>This is the greatest song, and the greatest concert, bar none.<br>I&apos;m in my 20s now. I wish I was born earlier to witness this concert first-hand. But I&apos;m grateful. Grateful that this gem exists. I just know I&apos;ll be back listening to and watching this video, even in my twilight years.<br>Thank you Mark. Thank you Dire Straits. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

  My dad is a 63 year old man from a tiny village in Northern Spain. He have always been a farmer, he never understood a single word in English. However, he always had Dire Straits cassettes and CDs ant home. I also found many more at my grandma&apos;s house along with his younger year&apos;s walkman. When I was a child I didn&apos;t understand why, among all the Spanish music he heard, he idolized Dire Strais and Knopfler, is just made no sense. Well, now I know why, this music, this guitars, simply break down all the language and culture barriers, and they go directy to your soul. I will always thank him for discovering me such an impressive group and music &lt;3

  Knopfler didn&apos;t just write a song; he engineered a sprawling, living landscape. Surrounding himself with gold-star musicians like Clark, Illsley, and Williams allowed him to treat the stage like a grand canvas. Telegraph road is masterclass-level classic rock.
