I took lessons about 30 years ago with a local retired pro that was about 80 at the time. This was the very first lesson he ever taught me. My Irons have always been the best of my game because of it.

every single thing that you said that your students do wrong i do wrong and when you brought up the shifting the pelvis forward, something instantly clicked in my head. i cant wait to try this out. youre the best instructor on youtube in my opinion

Another great session on iron play. It more fully explains the "mindset" of the average golfer and the fear of "NOT HITTING IT STRAIGHT" as most start with tops, thins, banana slices and duck hooks. Your explanation of low point is spot on and the drill you present to learn to trust the process - we often don't want to learn nor trust the process - we would rather get the 5min short quick "permanent" fix. As someone who has watched and practiced your drills for several years - your process is one of the most consistent and reliable I have ever viewed. Your teaching is not about quick fixes but rather learning the why behind the what. Thanks again for the great lessons via this platform.

Your point about playing golf in curves is so important - a lot of amateurs think that if they arent hitting it frozen rope straight its a bad shot, despite the fact that by aiming for a straight shot you are now giving yourself a 2way miss.

My coach also confirms this today, hell of a revelation. I strike much better with low irons "swinging to the right"

Danny, your “drill” is how I play golf. Stack & Tilt advocates weight forward/hip bump at setup and pivot around the front leg for a baby draw. Thanks.

As an on an off golfer I had major slices and incredible inconsistencies in my swing. This video really helped me for problems I have had for ages. Instead of major slices I’m now seeing that beautiful draw. Thanks a ton!
