Danny, those first two shots were personal.

I love the top-down camera angle of the shot (a golfer's eye view?!), showing how the hands and club face travel through impact. That's a big help in understanding the concept.

Danny, I've watched more golf 'coaches' on YouTube than I've had hot dinners. You stand out as the best in my mind... for instructions that are easy to understand and apply on the course.

Danny, I broke 80 for the first time ever. I shot a 78 - and most of the credit goes to your videos/lessons and me working hard to practice and improve. Thanks for all that you do for us! (Two days later was my follow up round and I did NOT blow up and shoot 105, lol. I shot a typical 85)

This video kinda reinforces something that transformed my short game. I started to reframe how I think about pitching and chipping. Anything from within about 60 yards. I'm no longer "chipping" or "pitching" the golf ball. I started to think of it as "putting", except I'm just putting the ball with a wedge or iron. That's helped me take the club back more consistently, make better contact, and take the flicking/wrist action out of my swing so that the loft of the club will do the work for me. Thanks for sharing these videos, they are very informative and help so much!

Tried this today Danny and it worked really well...been struggling with my chipping and even tried left hand low for a bit. This seems to give me more feel and touch around the greens. Thanks!🙌

The open the face a bit idea works, certainly up to pretty long pitch shots and, for me at least, full swings. Obviously you have to have given your "lizard brain" a very clear picture of the target shot. Not my area of expertise but I am told it is the cerebellum, brainstem, basal ganglia, amygdala and perhaps other brain parts I have forgotten that are at work. We cannot consciously make corrections during the downswing but the "lizard brain" trys to and succeeds a large part of the time.

Keeping my mind on point of contact for the sweet spot is now my goal if I can make myself take practice swings. For years I have just stepped up and hit the ball.

Wow, finally a fix for my chip yips that addresses the mental aspect of the yips. When you said that you need to create a “problem “ that your mind needs to overcome I knew this fix had potential. I’ve had the chip yips for over a decade. I lose at least 6 stokes per round on average. After watching this video I have been able to take this to the course and now I can see light at the end of this long tunnel. Thank you for addressing the mental aspect of this problem.

I just found out from my Swing Coach app that you are now one of the coaches! That is super exciting since you’ve always been my favourite YouTube instructor. This makes the app even better than it was. Thanks for joining! And thanks for all your great instruction!!

I always enjoy your videos. I save every one of them for future reference. I’m 83 years old and have a +14.3 handicap, per U-Swing. Following your videos and applying your recommendations, where needed, resulted in my handicap improving from ~20 to where it is now. Thank you.

I experienced chipping issues exactly how you demonstrated on this video when chipping within 25 yards. I was at the driving range one afternoon and noticed a younger man chipping onto the practice green. He never flubbed a single stroke. I watched him for a while and finally asked him how he became so constant in his strokes. He chuckled and said he uses a putting grip in lieu of his normal grip. This removed any opening or closing from his wrists flexing. I started practicing this and I ceased screwing up my swings. Also my accuracy improved dramatically. Any shots at a farther distance, I revert back to my normal grip.

Thank you and keep providing your sensible instructions. BTW, I miss your videos with your dad. Not only were they very instructive for us seniors, but they were very enjoyable.
