Firewatch was my GOTY when it came out and I must have completed it around 4 times over the years.

Henry's voice actor is Rich Sommer! He was raised and educated in Minnesota like many artists; we create creatives 😄 He's dipped his toes all over the comedy world but his biggest on-screen roles were in Mad Men and GLOW, and he was one of the friends in The Devil Wears Prada.

I was anxious the whole time expecting something, but nothing ever happens. The story at the start is real punch in the feels.

Wow! What a crazy fun surprise! This is one of my all time favorite games! The dialogue between the two lead characters is phenomenal! Enjoy!

I absolutely adore Firewatch. Three of the studio founders (Sean Vanaman, Jake Rodkin and Chris Remo) had a podcast called Idle Thumbs that I used to listen to, it was so good. Honestly highly worth going back and checking out if you want some great flashbacks to gaming in times gone by! They kept doing the podcast during and after development, eventually moving to another show less focused on games called "Important If True", but those ended when development got more intense on their next game, "In the Valley of the Gods". Then the studio got bought by Valve and it doesn't look like we'll likely ever see that other game, but I highly recommend checking out the trailer. Absolute banger. Nowadays, you can find Chris Remo (who did the music for this game) solving crosswords and puzzle games on his youtube channel, haha.

Back when Firewatch released, I picked it up and played about 30 mins of it. I dont know what distracted me, but this video is EXACTLY what I needed for me to get back to it. Emma has already progressed further than I ever did, but she's right, this dialogue and banter between Henry and Delilah is fantastic. I've already seen a few story choices that i would've done differently and I think that's really exciting. I can't wait to see how Emma's playthrough goes and I'm about to drop everything I'm doing right now to play Firewatch again.
