  How I know you have a great point about the level being disappointing: I 100%ed Dark Ages several months ago with all achievements, and I completely forgot there was a level inside the creature.

  Two games that have distinct "belly of the beast" levels that I know of are Unreal 2 and System Shock 2 the latter of which has lets say anatomically accurate features.

  I liked Dark Ages but yeah I forgot that level sooner than I would&apos;ve liked. This video made me remember when you go inside Sin in Final Fantasy X and it&apos;s actually this weirdly majestic heavenscape that eventually turns into a vast field of geometric metal cubes and obelisks in a starry sky, which honestly might&apos;ve fit Cthulhu better. Just something completely surreal and out-of-left-field. Like, why would a cosmic God have just regular &apos;ol guts and fluids

  While I 100% agree they could have made a better job to the inside of the beast level in Dark Ages, &nbsp;like made some reskins to the demons that make them look kinda dissolved, add some green or brown fog, make the walls and stuff inside move a bit... I feel we are forgetting the level desing<br><br>Dark ages nailed, once again, with the level desing for all levels, same with the theme and aesthetics for all levels but this one in specific.<br><br><br>Lore wise I don&apos;t think it needs to have weight in the plot, you got swallowed by the Old One, and now you must scape... is a cool idea that add variety to the game, is just an obstacle you need to face so you can save Thira, and while, again, I 100% agree they could do a better job to showcase the &quot;inside the belly beast&quot;, since it&apos;s true, it looks like a cave rather than a living organism.... is still a very fun level to play.<br><br><br>Community wads are cool, no doubt, but some focus more in presentation than level desing, and it shows
