8:52 As The Father once said to Anakin, "You have a very simple view of the universe."

Is probably something he'd also to say to someone like Plaqueis or Palpatine. No matter how grand their plans and knowledge of the force is, The Father would systematically break down how petty and limited their understanding is.

Plagueis is, with Obi-Wan my favourite character in Star Wars. He has such a complexity. He’s evil as Sidious but has this nihilistic view on the galaxy as Darth Traya. He’s not just a evil being as Sidious and Vitiate. Furthermore, he’s so powerful that even Sidious didn’t want to face him directly and drunk him out. His book is just pure art.

To assume that a Sith Lord, any Sith Lord, could ever be satisfied with the power they already possess, is to fundamentally misunderstand them completely.
They do not simply seek to possess power, they seek to BE power incarnate.

Sith: "I hate the Celestials so much."
Celestials: "Can't touch this." 😎

The greatest missed opportunity is that the Darth Plagueis novel isn't titled "The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise".
Like
How did no one stop prior to publication to make this change

The Sith would resent that the Celestials achieved such power, but don't use it to rule anybody. The Sith are obsessed with the material world and see everything else as a power source and nothing more.

Palpatine openly says what his (and the Sith's) goal is: UNLIMITED POWER. And the natural laws of the universe is a limit, and therefore the enemy of the Sith.

In a way, it makes the most sense that the thing the Sith fear most is death itself. It can take away everything you have ever worked for without you actually being fully dead yet and also it forces you to think of everything that has lead you to that exact moment of it appearing on your doorstep 🤔

The Mind Set of Darth Gygak (my main Sith Warrior in SWTOR) Towards Death - He does not fear Death, he Challenges it. He goes into every fight not only with the goal to conquer his opponent, but to prove that he is beyond Death's grasp. When he spares an opponent, it's always for 1 of 2 reasons. Either he see that they may prove of more use to him alive, or to deny Death it's prize. To Darth Gygak, if Death wants to claim him or those close to him, Death must earn the right to do so.

I would love to hear more about the celestials and their position in the force as well as the mystical aspects of the galaxy far far away!
