  The inability to wear eye protection made the vulnerable to light attacks. Once this was discovered their end was inevitable.

  one thing I love about the Je&apos;daii was their name for the dark side of the force was &quot;bogan&quot;, which incidentally is also the Australian word for it lmfao

  The Rakatan &quot;skipships&quot; that hijack Force-sensitive beings to power their hyperspace tech reminds me a lot of the unsettling biomechanical spider-like ships used by the Shadows in Babylon 5. The Shadows wired up captured telepaths to act as their ships&apos; central computers. This let their ships move and react with eerie coordination, and the psychic screams of the captured beings gave the ships an aura of terror - though it left them open to psychic jamming by enemy telepaths.<br><br>The Force turning against a species has echoes of what happened to the Yuuzhan Vong: butcher too many beings, and even the Dark Side will say &quot;screw those jerks, I&apos;m out&quot; and leave. The Rakata described it as a disease, which is different from how the YV described being cut off from the Force - but the Rakata described the Esh-kha as a plague, too, so maybe it was more metaphorical than just some kind of space-flu or bioweapon.

  I love how the rakatans called their empire &quot;infinite&quot; despite it being a tiny fraction (500) of, for example, the galactic empire (1.5 million) lol, it&apos;s like when sumerians declared themselves ridiculous titols for having conquered 3 small villages

  I miss times when some random people wrote the lore for SW. It was kinda bad and goofy, but some ideas and concepts passed the test of time.
