yknow, i've often seen the "in america, hotdogs come in packs of 10, and buns for them in packs of 8" thing, but as someone who lives in the US i've never actually seen a 10-pack of hotdogs? i've only ever seen 8-packs and like big party packs that are generally also multiples of 8, with most buns also being sold in packs of 8
