  My dad bought one of these new from Germany, they even invited him to the factory to see it being made on the production line  and  it lasted for decades and never broke down.

  I owned a 1960 Mercedes Benz 190d . It was my Grandfathers. He purchased it brand new from the factory in Germany and had it shipped over to San Pedro, CA. He drove it for many years and I inherited it when he passed. I loved tinkering with it.

  Helped an elderly neighbor work on one of these when I was 15. He sold it for 200 dollars at about the same time that yours was parked. My dad wouldn't let me buy it. I have always wanted one. Glad to see you bring that one back.

  Super job!  These old Mercs  were something else. My father had one back in the day,  it had done good 80.000 miles when he sold it 170.000 miles and it still ran like a Swiss watch...Thanks for sharing....👍👍

  Brilliant that the community is back, your soulful accents correspond with the love and your heart you put into all your hard work perfectly and seem so fitting as well. More importantly for your commentary is that we can understand your reasoning and thinking to diagnosing and fixing the problems on the engines and mechanics especially, I know we can see what  you doing , but it's nice to hear your reason of thinking.   I couldn't help but notice the Texas Sigma Chi decal on the back windshield at the car wash. As a Sigma Chi alum I went 'Holy Crap!' 😆Excellent job once again guys.
