  No you haven't gone crazy! I posted this yesterday and then got hit by copyright so had to re-post. If you already watched yesterday and you don't mind leaving the video up for a little while again, it'd be GREATLY appreciated! It had good momentum yesterday too 😭 Hope you guys enjoy!

  My favourite fun fact about this film is that Brian DePalma had met with Bob Hoskins (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Hook) and asked him to act as a standby for the role of Capone in case Robert DeNiro (who was DePalma’s first choice) was unavailable. When DeNiro did sign on to the film DePalma sent Hoskins a letter thanking him for his time, along with a check for $200,000. Afterwards Hoskins phoned DePalma up and jokingly asked him if there were any other films he didn’t want him to be in.<br><br>Now as terrific as DeNiro was in the finished film, Hoskins as Capone would’ve been perfect casting, and I can’t help but wonder what the film would’ve been like with him in it.

  DePalma&apos;s &quot;Blow Out&quot; is one of the best mystery/thrillers around. &nbsp;With a nice performance from John Travolta.

  Robert DeNiro located one of Al Capone&apos;s tailors and had him make all the suits you see DeNiro wear in the movie.

  One of my favourite films ever. It has so many people on their A-game - DePalma bringing the tension, Morricone&apos; score, Oscar-winning Connery and Mamet&apos;s quotable AF script.<br><br>And Armani lol.

The guy said that Elliot Ness did actually talk like that.<br><br>&quot;The jury thing...&quot;<br><br>Divorce courts in Chicago probably didn&apos;t have juries. (But, if I&apos;m wrong, I&apos;m wrong.)

  When they first met on the bridge and Malone asks if Ness is okay, Malone is probably thinking that a lone guy out on the bridge at night asking strange questions is the right setting for a suicide.
