carley i feel you would love to know that the “ai” meme that was featured making fun of miranda was made by a human artist! the film commissioned a real person to mimic ai trash and i think that integrity to the film’s critique bumped it up a full star for me, especially like you said, being a cash grab made in 2026

I think the choice of putting emily in a lot of dior logos, which many are critiquing, is a good way to show what miranda meant when she called her a vendor. Shes a trend follower who adds her own twist instead of setting the trends.

The romantic subplots were sooooo randomm. I loved how in the first movie, Andy ends up single, keeping an eye out for someone but not really making it the focus. This time it felt so forced and scripted FROM THE BEGINNING and she ends up with the human equivalent of paint drying on the wall. Unnecessary asf
