  I will never forget Rahaf Mohammed who broadcasted her escape on Twitter, while barricading in a hotel in Thailand. She was one of the few lucky ones who received asylum and is now free in Canada. I followed her twitter thread in real time and it still gave me chills how lucky she was!

  Harrowing story. The image of the girl shaking and bleeding into the seat of the car, followed by the comment from that guy who said they were paid well. I wonder what permanent damage to his soul and body would he be ok with, because he was paid well under the guise of doing something else. <br><br>It’s so important to never stop talking about this, and how some people keep supporting and benefiting from that awful regime.

  Also, was really wild to hear that Pegasus was used on Latifa’s phone. It’s an incredibly sophisticated, expensive (~$500,000) Israeli-made spyware that can only be sold to foreign entities with approval by the Israeli ministry of defense. This woman has suffered military-grade levels of surveillance.
