I love as they’re leaving the police station, Tatum tells Dewy “the janitor is your superior” and then later the janitor, “Fred” is played by Wes Craven who is technically their superior. Perfectly self-aware.

"YOU HIT ME WITH THE F*CKING PHONE, DICK!" is probably the best improvised lines in any slasher 😂

That opening will never get old.
“I wanna know who I’m looking at”
“What did you say?”
“I said I wanna know who I’m.. talking to”
“That’s not what you said”
“What do you think I said?”
chefs kiss

Fun Fact: None of the cast members actually ever seen the voice Actor of Ghostface played by Roger L. Jackson in person while filming Scream, Wes Craven intentionally designed it that way so the cast members may feel a sense of terror during the Telephone scenes.
Brilliant. Long Live Wes Craven!

Deputy Doofy-“Don’t bother me when I’m cleaning my room”

Not everyone’s gonna get that. But I can’t watch Scream without thinking about that scene.

10:24 She easily can escape the killer. All she have to do is throw a vase at the killer, push a bicycle, her grandma, and finally a piano.

I gotta say, that opening scene is absolutely one of the scariest intros in all of horror for me. It has yet to be surpassed by any other moment in the franchise. Love it!

 YES!!
The opening scene was on Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments and when people saw the opening, they thought Drew Barrymore was going to be the hero. They were in for a shocking surprise.
