David's solo is pure instrumental poetry. The most beautiful and emotional piece of music ever made and i don't care what anyone says.

"Leo Fender created the Stratocaster. God created David Gilmore to play it." - Unknown

"David Gilmore can do more with one note than most guitar players can do with the whole fret board." - Dave Mustain

Eric Clapton when interviewed was asked 'What is it like too be the best guitarist in the world?' To which he replied 'You'd better ask David Gilmour about that'

David Gilmour doesn't plug his guitar into an amp, he plug's it into his soul.

All hail David Gilmour, bender of notes, conqueror of chords, slayer of solos and supreme overlord of strings. Long may he live.

I cried. Wept when I experienced this live. Because I knew I would never hear nor see anything as good as this ever again in my entire life.

An American Dj said how can a little island like Britain produce so many ace guitarist's, makes me proud.

David Gilmour does not simply play the guitar. He tells a story with it.
