  Taxidermy, specifically butterflies or bugs is doing well for me. Also like you mentioned stools,one of my best sellers. Another huge trend right now, especially with gen z is heart shaped wooden items like shelves. Or heart cutouts in wood shelves. Can’t keep them in stock. Also I’m 58 so all the heart stuff I’ve already lived through in the 80s and I never thought it would come back hahaha

  I am 70...I have seen things go in and out. The main thing is to stick to what makes one comfortable.  There is brass and then there is brass...I only collected Virginia Metal Crafters which screams quality. I don't care what others think but I must say, I do get compliments. Trends seem to tire out so fast.

  Punch bowls seem to be on the upswing here.  For a while you could hardly give them away but young people are craving that nostalgia once again which makes me so happy.  I love this 1950's trend.

  Bookends, small trinket boxes, cookbooks, butterflies/bugs, milk glass and the Boho style is still good for me.

  This was an excellent video! I am afraid you are right about paint by numbers, and I just bought two at an estate sale. Part of me was thinking, Why are they still here on 75% off day, and the other part of me went crazy and bought them.

  It's very interesting to read the comments... Whats selling seems vary by geographic location. Trends are very personal. Like what kind of perfume you wear. I buy what strikes me - never because it's trendy.

  I appreciate these kinds of videos to help me bring the things current collectors are looking for to my booth space. It makes me happy to know that someone found a treasure to take home and enjoy. And honestly, most of them I already have in my garage. 😂 <br><br>All that being said, I recently sold my inventory of copper items for $2 and $3 a piece at my yard sales. I couldn’t move that stuff in my booth at all…ugh, I’ll never pick up copper again. I still sell brass, though not as quickly as I used to. Yes to milk glass, crystal, vintage linens, transfer-ware dishes &nbsp;and Silver plate. I’ve always loved them and I’m happy to see them selling more quickly again. Strangely, my salt and pepper shakers have been suddenly selling 🤷🏼‍♀️<br><br>I am a seller BECAUSE I am a lifelong collector and I can’t keep all the beautiful things I find! What seems to happen is things become popular (buyers see a tick-tok or Instagram post or a display in a magazine) and now want *insert item here. Then everyone starts hiking the prices up and it just becomes ridiculous so they move on. I collect the things I love when they are inexpensive and then I stop when the prices go up. I sell what I love in my booth, keep my prices reasonable, and I try not to worry about trends too much or I end up in the copper nightmare noted above. I’ve never been a fan of copper and I think my buyers could feel that my heart wasn’t in it. 😂

  I’m in my 70’s and have always thought good brass, sterling, good silver plate, copper, iron stone, Quimper, oriental pieces, fine china…<br>….. never go out of style!! I love antiques &amp; have bought an eclectic collection over the years that I love &amp; show off my personality and make my home my own!!

  TXS. Great tips. Also, during tough Economic times, people tend to want to go back to &quot;the olden days&quot; ( before things got cheap looking and when things were sentimental and slower-paced and more family focused). Many younger people like buying things from the PAST that are unique, &amp; don&apos;t cost too much, and add character to their homes. They seem to like &quot;olden granny stuff&quot;!

  Restaurantware &amp; crock bowls are still selling like crazy here (Texas) for me &amp; I believe they are classic/timeless. &nbsp;However, I do believe that many antique booth owners have begun asking ridiculously high prices for them &amp; then they see those items sit in their booth for awhile. &nbsp;I buy low so I can sell at a reasonable price.
