fun fact which not many people know was that in the in garage scene, the engine in the coupe was actually a drag motor borrowed from a mate of the chief mechanic specially for the 1st movie, wanted it to look like it was the real deal, along with filming the cameras slowed to film at half speed to make it look faster when played back at normal speed, the technique worked a treat

Uh, the blower was never “ functional” . Yeah, the pulleys turned, but it was still a dummy unit as in the first film.
