For the last vid, that's Guilliman, primarch of the Ultramarines. He was mortally wounded and placed in stasis shortly after the Horus Heresy, the civil war that basically killed the Imperium in the 31st millinnium. But in the end of the 41st Millennium, Chaos destroyed a planet called Cadia, creating a great rift across the galaxy. Half of the Imperium was cut off from Earth. In desperation, the Imperium allowed alien science to revive Guilliman. He was horrified by what mankind had become. But he launched the Indomitus Crusade, the largest military campaign since the Heresy, to rescue Imperium Nihilus (the name for the half of the Imperium cut off from Earth) from Chaos. Joined by new and improved Primaris marine reinforcements, he sets off to slow man's inevitable extinction.

16:11 that little skullpylon, was a teleporter beacon, to teleport in some elite troops(in this case Terminators) of the Ultramarines....

The clip at 18:45 is the ending cut scene from Space Hulk Tactics, a video game focusing on combat aboard a space hulk. Space hulks are compromised of dozens of ships, thrown together by the tides of the warp. It's easy to get overwhelmed when they just throw random clips together without explanation.

11:20 - "Nothing that big should move that fast." is the common sentiment seeing a Space Marine's speed.

Yeah, Warhammer 40,000 has been out for approximately 39 years, since 1987. That is the same year the first Halloween movie that Michael Myers was in came out, so yeah, it's been a long time since the entire franchise of Warhammer 40,000 has been around. Yes, it's a lot to get into, and it's hard to understand at first if you want to get into Warhammer 40,000. I would recommend starting somewhere by watching lore videos on YouTube. You can practically start anywhere with the lore videos, and you'll eventually piece it all together yourself. That's kind of how I did it. They also have hundreds of novels for Warhammer 40,000 as well, and I mean hundreds, so there are lots of books if you want to read as well. If you don't want the books, you can easily get the lore from the books on YouTube as well, so you could still piece it all together.

That fight on Armageddon, look up black templar hellbrech. Or something like that. Its a over 2 hour film. Starts in black and white then color comes in when the war goes crazy.

warhammer 40k is a Forces of Order perpetual war against Chaos, Aeldari, Necrons, Orks, Drukhari, Tyranids, T'au Empire and Leagues of Votann. to fully understand the world you need to read start with Xenos (the first book in the Eisenhorn series by Dan Abnett) or Horus Rising (the first book in the Horus Heresy series) to get the better understanding.

You Saw the Dawn Of war 4 Blood Ravens in the Red and Cream colored armor, and helped out by the Dark Angels in the Green Armor and with their Primearch Lion El Johnson, then you saw the Ultramarines in the blue helping the Blood Angels in the red and Black armor on the war torn world of Armageddon. Then you saw the Ultramarines fighting the "Great Devourer" the Tyranids, an unknown inter galactic alien species, and the heavily armored Space Marines you see teleporting in, are Space Marine Terminators. And the winged creature that ripped the Ultramarine in half is a Winged Tyranid Prime. Then you heard the voice of the Ultramarine's Primearch Reboute Guilliman. And the only faction to have actually have won and had everything was the Eldar/Aeldari. so look the Eldar up.

Shout out to the Mortal Engines reference. They are very similar since both gave up their flesh and blood bodies to become a machine, and both regret it immensensly And don't worry about struggling to keep up with everything. It's not that hard to follow, there's about 8 video games you need to play, 400+ novels you need to read, and something like 80 table top manuals to get through... Totally manageable if you run a 40k lore channel and can dedicate a full working week + days where you play the table top game. Here's an analogy to help understand how much 40k content there is. Tolkien wrote one book for the history of his world called the Silmarillion, and 4 books in the world, the LotR trilogy and the Hobbit. A 1 to 4 ratio. 40k has the same ratio. Except the number of books written about the "history" of the setting is currently at 70 full length novels, and is growing.
