Man it's great to see you back in it. I backed and started seriously following SC probably a few months before you took your hiatus. Gotta say, your enthusiasm with the ships REALLY sold me on some of my fleet mainstays. As of this recording, I don't think you've covered the Polaris? That's the ship I'd like to see next. And now I've got to make a "Before and After" video playlist with you reviewing these ships in concept, then the flyable version. That'll be an interesting set of videos. 😂😂

I actually managed to snag an Idris-P in the most recent sale, bought both kits, and a Railgun off a player, now it's looking *amazing*. Been rocking the Nightbreak paint, because I love the synergy with all of the Idris' main support craft like the Gladius & MPUV.

Some great footage mate. The shots in the atmosphere under that dark cloud cover look so ominous. Also, a great overall review. Sub 👍

29:50 I very much expect the Javelin to get larger torpedoes, If you measure the dimension of the dual torpedo launchers on the front of the Javelin they are much much bigger than the size 12 launchers on the Idris, Something like size 24-25 torpedos.

I remember rewatching some of your videos 5-10 times :) glad you returned!

So much good footage, that my Javelin is in danger too now :P But nah, gonna keep my tavern brawler for those Peasant Idrises who decide to come in 5km range of their K-laser!

we might get a redesign of the M if you look closely in the Squadron 42 gameplay footage the Idris looks a little different, most noticeable are the thrusters and main cannon (railgun) but over all same interior

I love my M! - but the Idris that releases when SQ42 comes out (the final iteration) had better have more than 1 scuffed up screen per station! PS.. I fit Eclipse EASILY -- sideways.. I also put in 2 F7A's and 1 F8C... I keep Cyclones, Ursa, and Scooters all over the place as well. PSS.. funny you mention the Bismarck ... My Idris is named the Bismarck I 🤣
