  This is a disco funk tune. Rod Stewart is well known in Classic Rock for tunes like Maggie May. This album was his wading into the disco era. He was huge back then.

  A friend was blasting this and car dancing in a rented convertible in LA. Limo pulled alongside at a stop light, window rolled down; Rod sang along til the light changed.  😂

  I gotta say Andiroo, of all the people who do reactions, you do the best job analyzing all the technical aspects of the music of my generation (70s -80s). Occasionally noting the lyrics too. Absolutely love what you do bro.<br><br>One of the most notable things about the music we grew up with was the common theme of harmony, lyrics with stories and great lead guitar rifts. <br>It’s why I still listen to this music today, 50 years later.

  Maggie May for one of this classic early songs. &nbsp;One of my favorites is &quot;Forever Young&quot;. &nbsp; You should check those out for more typical Rod Stewart.

  &quot;Why is this not as thing anymore&quot;; because music evolved into something unrecognizable. It&apos;s a shame; the sounds, the singers, the harmonies the instruments, the song writing ..... WE ALL MISS IT! &nbsp;When you replace the human element with computers you lose it ALL!

  Rod Stewart has an iconic voice and was very popular in the 70s and 80s. You should also listen to Maggie May, Hot Legs, The First Cut is the Deepest, I Was Only Joking, and You&apos;re in my Heart.
