We lived in West Bremerton for about two years. It is noisy from shipyard traffic from 4:45 am on. The blocks are small, houses close together, with WWII era 1br cottages dotted throughout. As she says, the housing stock is the oldest in the area, and there is an unincorporated neighborhood stuffed in between Bremerton and Gorst which is old and has undersized sewers. A friend lives there, told me about higher crime than other neighborhoods.
