Don't expect straight up blues from them in every song. They could be bluesy, but they were also very psychedelic, sometimes a bit jazzy, and out and out rock, but in all facets, they were......The Doors.

LA Woman, Light My Fire, Riders on the Storm, Break on Through, Love Her Madly should be the next Doors songs to react to

Jim Morrison was buried at the super famous cemetery in Paris, Père Lachaise Cemetery. You cannot believe all of the crazy famous people buried there. Will never forget going there one grey, frigid day a few days before Christmas. Cobblestone streets in this very large cemetery. We were looking for specific people's graves and Jim's was one of them. Hardly a soul in the cemetery until we got to his grave. Apparently, always a crowd. Really like a shrine.

The doors is one of those bands that doesn't stick to one genre. When you explore the doors you're going into different categories of experimental and fascinating music. No song sounds the same.

6:08 Morrison had a godlike singing voice and a natural speaking voice.

It's amazing how interest in the Doors comes back about every other generation. They sound as innovative and contemporary today as in 1968.
