After months of many of you asking my to play this silly little nugget of Finnish goodness, it's finally here and what a plane it is! I was very surprised just how capable of a dogfighter this is and thank you to all those who recommended it... you HAVE to give it a try 😂
What other aircraft would you love to see on the channel? 🤔

The B-239 is a de-navalized (if that's a word) version of the buffalo. The 239 is lighter due to the fact that it lacks the equipment needed for carrier landings. Paired with a new Wright R-1820-G5 engine. This engine only added 10hp, but the changes were enough to allow a 26:1 down ratio.

 B-239 Information!

The Fins started looking for a new, modern fighter aircraft they could get quickly in April of 1939 as a replacement for their aging fighter fleet.

In December of the same year the Finnish government formalized the purchase of 44 modified F2A-1 designated as “B-239E”, which lacked cockpit armor and self sealing fuel tanks but were equipped with a new more powerful Wright R-1820-G5 engine and was equipped with 2 additional machine guns.

The aircraft were also stripped of unnecessary equipment for the role they would be playing within the FAF, with items such as tail hooks and oceanic survival equipment storage removed.

Upon arrival in Finland in the 1940s the Finnish made more modifications such as armoring the back of the pilot’s seat, installing metric pilot instruments and a new domestic gun sight

Yes I’m autistic, how could you tell :)?

The FLYING from 6:50!!! You are an INCREDIBLE pilot!!! The anticipation, the planning, the knowledge of opposing planes.... And 8 kills was more than the REST OF THE TEAM COMBINED!!! I just found your stuff this week and I have been in AWE watching you!!! Top tier combat, mate!

I'll keep advocating for a Lightning F6 video. It's a cool, unique jet that has potential to be really fun.

By best game ever was in one of these. 7 kills, 3 assists, and I survived the whole match with a red engine and a heavily damaged airframe. Love this thing!!
