I've followed our politics all my life and this is probably one of the most genuine interviews with an MP on parliament I've ever seen. Well done for creating such a good atmosphere and finding the right man to interview. One of your best videos yet to be sure.

Adam is my MP, met him loads of times over the years before and since his election, he's very friendly and approachable.

7:37 “A cordial debating atmosphere… in theory.” In theory indeed. The one time I was a spectator in Parliament, at the end of one really heated exchange, an elderly MP stood up, adjusted his tie, then said “I wish to say to the gentleman from xxxx, when you were circumcised, sir, they threw away the best part.” And then he sat back down. I could not believe what I had just heard!

So great to see an MP with real life experience who is a proper scientist. Far far too many lawyers and careerists in the house at the moment.

This was really good.

I can see teachers using this video for the next decade as they try to explain to students various aspects of how Parliament works.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if various parliamentary PRs started reaching out to you to see if you'll cover how their section of the Commons or Lords work. It was simple, accessible and informative - and brilliantly edited.

Ha, this guy is my MP. He's been more engaged than any other I've known in my lifetime. Which is a nice change

Evan, at this point you are most definitely making a name for yourself as a documentary filmmaker on YouTube. The level of research and preparation that went into this video, as well as the beautiful filmography, actually blew me away. Not to mention, I'm learning something new in every single one of these videos. I had no idea that an MP could reserve a seat in parliament by attending prayers or that bowing was mandatory. A genuinely fascinating video, and an important one. We could all stand to better understand the systems of government, what they do and how they work.
