  All the hype about Penzoil Ultra Platinum is real. My 2010 Ford Ranger really does seem to run better and is more quieter than ever before since I started using it 2 years ago! I haven't seen the reported 2-3 mile improvement in gas mileage per gallon but this oil is great. And the price is also about even with other so called great synthetic motor oils too. Try it and you WILL like it.

  Most modern engines are now using ILSAC -GF7 specific  oils ! Yes there is also Alkylated Napthaline in the recipe ! Mainly for oxidation values and extra wear protection ! Specially  timing chains ! You can also buy AN ! Its called MOTERKOTE ! Its great stuff ! Been using it religiously  for 14 years ! 1994 chevy s10 2.2L original  unrebuilt  eng-trans and rear end ! 673 ,400 miles ! And yes you can use it in transmissions  and wet clutches ! 🌟👍

  It is not a GTL oil anymore at this point due to the plant in Qatar being bombed. <br>The plant was damaged.<br>I still use it and hope the plant comes.back online.

  Pennzoil 0w40 Ultra platinum was originally designed for Chrysler Dodge/Ram. Chrysler asked Pennzoil to formulate a 0w40 oil for their high performance engines it is not spec&apos;d for GM

  I use plain ole Mobil 1 afe 0w30 (for now)....fast circulating,30 grade on operating side...works great in my 0w20 engine.😂

  I used to use amsoil. But after objectively watching and doing research on different oils I decided to switch to this. It&apos;s crazy how it smells . Almost like vegetable oil

  No one else can beat Mobil 1&apos;s Truck and SUV formula when it comes to cold flow. Not even Amsoil. No one. Pennzoil&apos;s Platinum line will still thicken more than desired compared to M1 Truck and SUV in extreme cold. It&apos;s likely due to their highest use of group 5 alkalated naphthalene in that particular formula.
