I rewarded myself with a NEW 1972 H2 750cc ( non-widow maker😊) Installed the Bill Wirges expansion chambers, tweeked the carbs & intake filter and away I went. YES..the wheelies were often unexpected thus, my roll on the throttle was very lite n smooth! It was a great bike for riders that were
Cognizant of its power and acceleration. 👍🙂

20:12. The VMAX produces roughly 140 hp, compared to the V65's approximately 110–116 hp. Despite the horsepower gap, their quarter-mile times remain nearly identical due to power delivery and gearing. Riders note that the V65 is more refined and maneuverable in city riding, whereas the 1985 VMAX was famously criticized for a soft front suspension and high-speed sway.

A 2001 carbureted Yamaha YZF-R6 could be dyno tuned 109 HP with a highly capable frame. Good for an indicated 160 mPH. I miss mine.

    The
"square four" RG,500 was effectively 2 Suzuki 250 two-stroke twins with a single crankcase and cylinder head on a bike slightly heavier than the 250 and often ridden by riders who lived to exploit it's greater power to weight ratio.

I worked at a Kawasaki dealer in 1972 when the 2 stroke tripple came out. We got three750 and two 500 s .All of them were totaled by the end of the summer !

The 1978 and 1979 Z1R and Z1R turbo were way overpowered for their frames, particularly in corners. Most of us ended up getting the frames welded joints gusseted and rewelded to try minimize the "twisties."

    I haven't seen anyone mention the 1978 Kawasaki Z1R-TC, a 130 hp turbocharged version of the Z1R.

The video claimed that the 1979 Honda CBX didn't handle well. The one I purchased enabled me to drag the footings in sweeping smooth corners. Once I changed lanes at around 30 mph with my wife on the bike. She tapped me on the shoulder and said "both of my feet touched the pavement when you changed lanes". I had snapped it over to the left and immediately snapped it back to the right then back strait up in on fluid motion. The CBX demands confidence and rewarded my aggressive riding style.

I don’t understand why the Blackbird is in this list if it’s titled engines too powerful for the chassis. Then it goes on to compliment the Blackbirds handling. I Loved my Blackbird, a brilliant do it all bike.

Blackbird, one of my favourite all-time bikes. Good video, brought back some good memories 👌
