I find it hilarious that (In the comics) Lobo actually respects Aquaman because Lobo likes space-dolphins and Aquaman can talk to them

You forgot to mention Lobo and the Blazing Chain of Love and the fact that he also fought Santa Claus. Finally, YES, Lobo live-acrion should make Deadpool look like a girlscout in comparison.

In the Lobo's Back series, he was made immortal so heaven and hell wouldn't have to deal with him. I've been a huge Lobo fan since the early 90's. Yes, I had the banned Christmas special and the original banned Lobo's Back issues with the multiple covers (if you don't know what I'm talking about, you didn't handle the original). Superman and Lobo have run-ins from time to time, it seems that it is maybe 50/50 or possibly Lobo having a slight historic edge. Dog isn't his dog either, he just "follows him around." The Mask could technically create Lobo. The "Main Man" is inevitable. He will get his deserved movies, I've been waiting for 30 years, but I know it will happen and it won't be PG13.

Lobo won the coolest character characters ever since he debuted on krypton, but it was a different actor at the time
