23:02 Correction: The narration on Page 37 of the Manga actually does refer to the green inklings as “Aspara’s Team,” meaning Aspara would have witnessed an Inkstrike before the chapter where she fires one herself at the Octarians. This doesn’t change much, but I figured I should point it out

Imagine being an octoling having just escaped Octavio and finding your way to Inkopolis, you walk into a clothes shop and the first thing you see is a shirt with a picture of your coworker being tied up about to be shot in the head

The funny thing is that before Splatoon 3 came out, this comic was basically our only source of information regarding humans in Splatoon lore

I honestly don't think I've questioned the random UFO in the tutorial until now lmao

I think the panel at 7:58 of the giant inklings could be a reference to war of the worlds by h.g. wells! It's the exact same design but squid-like, and references an alien race trying to take over

I think its funny that this girls first reaction to seeing a weird guy in warehouse was to rip his clothes off

Really, Splatoon has so much potential to have an animated series

19:25 "The story concludes with a teenager literally committing a war crime" got me laughing my ass off! 😂

Finally some Splatoon food while I’m sick. I’ve been in agony since we just sent allowed to get anything new about Raiders.

The sunglasses and cap inkling reminds me of Captain 3 in Splatoon 3. They use a similar cap and colour.
