  I hate to be “that” person, but there weren’t 10,007 blended. He only blended the ones who successfully made it through his tests, which most of them likely didn’t. The ones who failed either ended up like Iso Padre, who sits on the metro for pretty much the rest of his days, or they get sanitized and are forced to work for Kamabo Co. as stage elements or laborers. Agent 8 was given the number 10,008 because there were 10,007 test subjects before them.<br><br>TLDR Agent 8 was the 10,008th TEST SUBJECT, not the 10,008th blended. Most likely only about half—possibly less—of them were actually blended.

  I’ve got a feeling that those creepy sounds at the pre fight to a boss is some monstrous experiment that the humans worked one to protect themselves, but after they died out, it went crazy and will kill anything that comes within its line of sight.

  I have a theory on how there&apos;s so many Octarians that isn&apos;t so horrific. We know in the manga of Splatoon that Inklings can get their tentacles cut and styled (we also see this in game too tbh). It&apos;s heavily implied that this doesn&apos;t hurt. I imagine Octolings have the same thing going on. Get their hair cut every now and again and the scraps get donated to the Octarian army as new soldiers.

  You know for a franchise like Splatoon that&apos;s full of cartoonish characters, silly dialogs, and wacky atmosphere, they really show its dark side behind the scenes of the story, pretty much up like Mario, Zelda, Kirby, or even Sonic for that matter.

If you now translate these you are just getting informations about the rocket launch, navigation and weather (and yes, this is a human voice)

  I saw a fan theory a while back that speculated that when an Inkling or Octoling touches the fuzzy ooze, it not only causes them to grow fur but also causes them to develop bones which is why they go all stiff after touching it.

  The Raiders comics actually showed Shiver, Frye, Big Man and Mechanic surviving rain just fine. It didn&apos;t seem to hurt them
