  I do love when goofy, otherwise uninteresting mid-tier characters have that one, ONE quirk about them that makes you have to rethink a core system and allows for an unexpected strength. Evil Ryu being able to basically stagger from anywhere on screen while entering &quot;Kick people&apos;s ass real good&quot; mode definitely fits that bill.

  There was nothing cooler than when I walked into the arcade and when I go my turn at Street Fighter Alpha, I went to random select and got Akuma. The crowd of about 15 people were all like, &quot;OHHHHHH!!!!&quot;, with more oohs and aahs to follow at all his different supers and his juggle combos, dive kick and demon flip.

  One of the notable differences E.ryu has is his red fireball, unlike ryu or akuma where its on a different input, for E.ryu his normal fireball starts as a red fireball for the first few frames which knocks down and does a lot of stun (i think it stuns ryu in 3 fireballs). You see the fireball change from red to purple if you shoot it from range.<br>The red fireball should in theory connect on most characters where the dp doesnt work as you showed.

  For those curious about the cameos on Ken&apos;s stage<br><br>From left to right the characters are: Lord Raptor, Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling from Darkstalkers, the two Unknown Soldiers from Forgotten Worlds, Morrigan Aensland (Darkstalkers), Jumbo Flapjack and Biff Slamkovich (Saturday Night Slam Masters), Eliza (Ken&apos;s wife), Ginzu and Captain Commando from Captain Commando, Michelle Heart (Legendary Wings), Strider Hiryu (Strider), Linn Kurosawa (Aliens Vs. Predator), Felicia (Darkstalkers) and Pure the Mage from Capcom World 2. The butler on the far right is the capcom founder Kenzo Tsujimoto.

  I love that older games like this still have developing metas. That&apos;s a kind of magic you can&apos;t get when the entire community shuffles over to the newest release very couple of years
