  Freddie lived his life according to his own beliefs.  It did not matter to him if you disapproaved, but he loved you just the same.  He accepted his fate with grace and dignity.

  Remember, this was not a Queen concert...until they took the stage. After that, I think the whole crowd became Queen fans.

  Freddie was advised by his Doctor not to perform due to a throat infection. He didn&apos;t want to let the fans down. &nbsp; <br>Freddie was and will always be the best Frontman.

  I was at this concert as a young 23 year old, I was already an avid queen fan but at the time of buying our tickets had no idea queen would be performing as they were a late but not last minute addition to the concert.<br>I was absolutely over the moon to learn that they would be playing, Freddie was such a star but the whole band was made up of master musicians who were and still are head and shoulders above anything else out there.<br>I loved the day and still remember it so clearly, best band by a country mile on the day, I always intended to see them again at Wembley the following year during their magic tour but never managed it due to work and family commitments but always thought I would catch them next time , sadly the next time never came.<br>Now years later as a 64 year old I still listen to queen daily and love watching the youngsters of today reacting to queen for the first time and in most cases seeing them fall in love with timeless music.<br>Great reaction by the way and thank you.

  I saw them in 1978 - we had 6th row seats on the floor. At the encore, we went to the front of the stage! People were more civil back then, so they let us do it! I was sitting on my boyfriend&apos;s shoulders, and I was 15 feet from Freddie! The energy was so electric, it&apos;s something I&apos;ll never forget, and I&apos;ve seen A LOT of concerts. I saw Bob Seger in 1986, he was SOOO good!
