  Beautiful! Such wisdom.<br>One quick note: for someone who has gone through the full commitment to a vocation: ordained, married, etc…even if you chose the “wrong” vocation, this vocation is now the one God will work through for your salvation. The Devil likes to make us second guess our vocations once we confirm them before God. Every vocation will have seasons of trial and difficultly. That’s not God punishing you for picking the “wrong” one. Trust in God. He knows better than us ❤️

  I always wanted to be a Catechist. I figured I would be one as I was older and my kids grown. However, an opening came up at my church to be one 5 years ago and I&apos;ve been a Catechist ever since. I teach the Kindergarten class. I love it so much. These young kids are so bright and want to learn all about Jesus.

  It’s nice to hear Sr. mention desires being placed in your heart since a young age. There’s such a tension between recognizing that my wants in life often need to be better aligned to reality and seeing what the Lord has given me a good desire to pursue. I personally always dreamed of moving to a small town and being a woodworker. It would strike such a chord in my heart every time I would pass by these small towns on road trips, and the same when i saw people selling wooden things now and then. But I never thought much of them and thought I should pursue greater success. I never even did woodworking in my life until just a couple years ago and when I did it was like this light clicked on “where has this been all my life”. I took a job in a wood shop and moved to a small town a little later. There are plenty of opportunities to struggle and grow in holiness even when you feel content and at peace in your vocation, and you can do more for the world when your heart is in your work.
