  God, I&apos;ve seen more &quot;What happened to Spoony?&quot; vids than actual Spoony vids in the last decade. It goes to show the interest he generated and how spectacular his fall from grace truly was. <br><br>This is probably the ultimate story of self destruction on the internet.

  I was big fan of Noah Antwiler&apos;s older work back in the old days of YouTube, but eventually, I come to accept the fact that &quot;The Spoony One&quot; we once knew died eight years ago.

  I always felt LordKat&apos;s rant towards Noah was a bit much and that he exaggerated the effects of Noah&apos;s actions. It comes across like he&apos;s bitter as fuck that his own career died and he was taking it out on Noah. Blistered Thumbs always was a horribly ran site doomed to fail from the start and a single interview with Notch wasn&apos;t going to make your career. Get fucking real dude and get off the high horse.

  I used to view Spoony&apos;s success as proof that a similarly bad attitude I had was &quot;right.&quot; His abrupt nosedive was a wake-up call for me.

  if he was indeed diagnosed with bipolar personality disorder, then his behavior fits perfectly with it. during the manic stage he made a lot of videos and put a lot of energy into them, after he hit a block, the depressive stage began, and when he started treatment he completely fell into apathy (medicines for BPD do this), and then a spiral of guilt and self-pity and subsequent severe depression. If you add the rest to this, the picture emerges.

  I can’t help but to point out the similarities between Spoony One and Bojack Horseman. The cycle of being shitty followed by self-pity, constant ups and downs. Finally, untreated depression that does not justify the fact that he is the source of all wrong he committed. Yet I still feel bad for a guy, and I’m glad that the Phantasmagoria actor led him to having some human interaction he desperately needs.<br><br>I don’t really care if he will produce more videos, but I hope he will eventually be able to live decently enough to quit his unhealthy habits.

  It amazes me how people have forgotten that Spoony crowd funded his trip to meet the creator of Ultima so he could produce “a documentary”. He only produced around 20 min of content and the trip to Texas just so happened to occur when Spoony and April were moving. So, yeah- his fans also paid for him and April to galavant across the country to their new house.
