  LordKat blaming Noah for costing him interviews was funny considering the stuff Jim Sterling and Destructoid did while still getting crazy access. Devs don&apos;t really care about that stuff.

  That&apos;s pretty cool of Richard Garriott to reach out to Spoony to cheer him up. Always liked that guy and I think Spoony&apos;s content had an indisputable impact on keeping his legacy alive after he&apos;d been out of the gaming industry for so long.

  It&apos;s pretty clear in hindsight that Spoony was crying for help from the beginning. It probably didn&apos;t help that people were clowning on him when he clearly was not mentally stable. As soon as he started drinking on camera someone should have intervened.

  Spoony was my favorite content creator as a teen, especially during his &quot;golden years&quot; of 2007-2011. The releases of his game reviews were treated as events in my friend group, and we&apos;d gather and watch them together. Thanks, Spoony.

  IF you weren&apos;t there in the late 2000s, Spoony was a very close second to the AVGN in terms of quality. What&apos;s so sad about his story that he would likely have millions of subscribers if he would have made his normal content. His vlogs were fun to listen to, &nbsp;and I think he would still have a strong audience if he kept that up. He was a little ahead of his time since livestreaming didn&apos;t exist.<br><br>I believe the idea behind donations have changed. Most people who donate now just want to support a creator. Back then, everyone expected some drastic event to happen. I know a movie was promised, but that was almost a chiche back then.<br><br>At any rate, I hope Spoony is doing well now. Rest in peace Oreo.

  The sad thing is is that Spoony could 100% make a successful comeback. He has all the talent in the world to make it in entertainment but no ability to get out of his own hell of depression, self loathing, and lack of confidence. And despite all of that, people still love him. He STILL has fans- I’m one. I hope he’s happy doing whatever he’s doing now but still hoping that he returns one day.
